Richard Russell

Richard Joseph Russell, 90, of Newton formally of Beacon, NY passed away Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke. Born September 13th, 1927 he was the son of the late Arthur Russell and Loretta Deegan Russell. He was retired from Nabisco Brands and he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.   Two daughters, Carol Christoffersen and husband Keith of Candor, NY and Margaret Grzybicki and husband Ronald of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Richard Russell Jr. and wife Anna of Newburgh, NY, and Christopher Russell and wife Betty of Newton, NC; 11 grand children, George Rainboth of Candor, NY, Todd Christoffersen of Candor, NY, Lisa Toscano of Fishkill, NY, Marci Soulia of Las Vega, NV, Ronald Grzybicki, Jr of Las Vegas, NV, Scott Grzybicki of Lemoore, CA, Ashley Russell of Manhatten Beach, CA, Robert Jones of Banner Elk, NC, Michael Russell of Grants Pass, OR, Courtney Truitt of Hickory, NC and Nicholas Russell of Newton, NC and 15 great grand children survive him.  In addition to his parents, his wife of 65 years Agnes Helen Russell; a son Arthur Russell;and three brothers preceded him in death.   A Funeral Mass will be held at a later Date in Beacon, NY.
