Rickey Allen Newton Sr. 65 of Lincolnton passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his home. Born, February 4th, 1955 he was the son of the late B.S. Newton and Ruth Farris Newton.
His wife of 32 years Robin Whitesides Newton of the home; two daughters Greta Newton of Georgia, Sheena Smith and husband Andrew of Lincolnton; two sons Robbey Newton and wife Sandra of Lincolnton, Rickey Allen Newton Jr. of Lincolnton; a sister JoAnn Fredell of Lincolnton; two brothers Steve Newton of South Carolina, Greg Newton of Lincolnton; 11 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren survive him.
A Private Graveside will be held at Mt Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden.
