Rickey Lee Ramseur

Rickey Lee Ramseur, 67, of Newton died Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born March 22nd, 1957 he was the son of Allen Leroy Ramseur and Annie Virginia Ramseur. 

His children, Alecia Williams, Rickey Farley, Ronnie Farley, Roderick Ramseur, Demario Ramseur and Whitley Ikard; his siblings, Kathryn Sellers (Kenda), Allen Ramseur Jr. (Tonya), Gloria Polk (Steven), Terry Ramseur (Carolyn), Dolores Cowans (Dennis) and Barbara Barker (Joe); his aunt, Dorothy Wiggins; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive him.

In addition to his parents, his brother, Samuel Ramseur and his sister, Dorothy Ramseur preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home and burial will follow at Central City Cemetery.
