Rickie Kiziah

Rickie Lyne Kiziah, 61 of Newton died Thursday, March 17th, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born March 25th, 1954 he was the son of John Kiziah and Shirley Kiziah. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany and also in the National Guard for nearly 20 years. His wife of four years, Paula Cash Kiziah of the home; his mother, Shirley Jean Keller Shook and step-father, Don Shook of Conover; his step mother, Betty Kiziah of Hickory; two daughters, Kristy Owens of Conover and Candy Kiziah of Newton; a step daughter, Natasha Lane of Newton; a sister, Rhonda Jones and husband Ralph of Hickory; three brothers, Randy Kiziah and wife Tonya of Raleigh, Randall Kiziah of Hickory and Ronnie Kiziah and wife Diane of Claremont; step brothers, Danny Shook and wife Sheila of Saw Mills and Dean Shook and wife Lisa of Conover; four grandchildren, Dakota Wright, David Ikerd, Cassidy Blackburn and Haley Lane survive him. The funeral will be 3:00pm Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Edwin Elmore officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 16.
