Rita Blanchette

Rita Ann Blanchette, 81 of 7th Ave. Place SW, Hickory died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Brian Center East. Born April 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Riley Sr. and Viola Cecile Mason Riley. Four daughters, Margaret Ball of Pennsylvania, Rose M. Shoestock of Newton, Norma Jean Dixon of Hickory and Patricia Ann Daigneualt of Massachusetts; a son, Leonard B. Lawliss of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister, Gloria Leander of Enfield, Connecticut; a brother, Timothy Riley of Newport News, Virginia and numerous grand-children; great grand-children; and nieces & nephews survive her. Her husband, the late Normand Joseph Blanchette; brothers, Bernard Riley & Clifford Riley Jr.; sisters, Debra Pauline Riley, Patricia Ann Korona and Marilyn Morrow preceded her in death.
