Robert ?Bud? Clyde Anthony, 74 of East Maiden Road, Maiden died Monday, July 30, 2012 at CMC-Lincolnton. Born December 26, 1937 he was the son of the late Boyce Dazel Anthony & Eller Craig Anthony. In addition to his wife of 36 years, Gloria Magaline Dugger of the home; five daughters, Teresa Scott and husband Nick of Crouse, NC, Hope Mullins and husband Randy of Maiden, Emma Starnes and husband Scott of Claremont, Cricket Kiziah and husband David of Denver, NC and Virginia Taylor and husband Nathan of Newton; two sons, The Rev. Caroll Anthony and wife Sherrie of Marshville, NC and Joey Anthony of Maiden; three sisters, Ruby ?Rube? Bowman of Morganton, Wanda Deal of Taylorsville and Caroleen Coffey of Valdese; three brothers, Rick Anthony of Morganton, Donald Anthony of Morganton and Larry Anthony of Morganton; 17 grand-children and six great grand-children survive him. Step mother, Jessie Anthony; four sisters, Mary Ellen Matthews, Dorothy ?Dot? Green, Bonnie ?Bon? Yancey, Azalee Chapman; two brothers, Cyrus Anthony and Charles Anthony; a grand-daughter, April Pressley and a great grand-daughter, Kaylen Phillips preceded him in death. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Caroll Anthony and Rev. Matt Munday will officiate. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Mark Turner, Joshua Scott, Joshua Starnes, Jordan Starnes, Wayne Dugger, Jeffrey Walker, Randy Mullins and John Whitener. The family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Thursday August 2, 2012 in the Chapel. Memorials may be made to The Robert ?Bud?
