Robert Beaver

Robert Ray Beaver, 88, of Hickory, died Friday, August 20, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born May 18th, 1933 he was the son of the late Howard Luther Beaver and Bertie Anderson Beaver. Bob served in the united states army and was stationed in Germany. He was a skilled brick mason for over 50 years and was the owner of beaver masonry. Bob was a faithful member of crossroads Baptist church and a vital part of the men's prayer ministry

Bob is survived by his wife of 25 years Sandra Irene Burris Beaver; children, Angela Chapman (Jonathan),  David Scott Skerjanec (Haley);  grandchildren, Jonathan Wilkinson, Kobie Wilkinson,  Katie Wilkinson and Ezekiel Skerjanic; nieces, Ann Cochann (Mike), Janet Patterson (Danny) and Cathy Sweatt special family friends Stephen and christina Thomas and children. Caregivers, Loretta Buchanan, Ann Hedrick and Diane Rudisill. A host of Christian brothers and sisters

In addition to his parents, his siblings William "Bill" Beaver, Bertie "Ruth" Kirby and Lucy Ann Ivey preceded him in death.

The memorial service will be 3:00 PM August 29, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Huffman officiating. The family asks that you please wear a mask for the service and practice social distancing.
