Robert Boston

Robert Lee Boston, Sr., 56 of Cedar Grove Church Rd. of Vale died May 19, 2009 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born May 9, 1953 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mamie Colleen Smith Boston. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. An auto-mechanic, he loved gardening and fishing and mostly his family. His wife Alice Porter Boston of the home; a daughter Tiffany Hope Boston of the home; three sons, Robert Lee Boston, Jr. of Hudson, Kevin Darrell Lewis of Asheville, and Raymond Gene Lewis of Asheville; three sisters Karen Spencer of Claremont, Wanda Boston of Clover, SC, and Betty Smith of Claremont; three brothers Earnest Thomas Boston of Conover, Larry Gene Boston of Lincolnton, and Charles Leroy Boston of Claremont; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews survive him. A brother, Billy Ray Boston preceded him in death. A celebration of life of Bob will be 1:00 p.m. Friday May 22, 2009 at Gateway Baptist Church with Rev Richard Porter officiating.
