Robert Mayo Hefner, 70 of Claremont died Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born January 30th, 1944 he was the son of the late Reginald Mayo Hefner and Martha Coxwell Hefner. His wife of 47 years, Judith Isenhour Hefner of the home; a son Gregory Hefner and wife Melissa of Monroe; a brother, William Hefner and wife Eva of St Petersburg, FL; survive him. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with The Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Disher officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
