Robert Poteat

Robert (Robbie) Lee Poteat, Jr. 42 of Connelly Springs died Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 11th, 1974 he was the son of Robert Lee Poteat, Sr. and Elizabeth Corpening Day.       A son, Nathaniel Poteat of CO; a daughter, Taylor Parker of Connelly Springs, NC; his mother, Elizabeth Day and husband Ronald Day of Taylorsville; His father, Robert Lee Poteat, Sr. of Connelly Springs; two sisters, Brenda Ballou and husband Ralph of Granite Falls and Trish Atkins of Morganton; three brothers, David Massagee and wife Lisa of Taylorsville, Mark Massagee and significant other, Robin Danner of Morganton and Allen Poteat of Connelly Springs survive him. A celebration of Robbie's life will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 17th, 2017 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Huffman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Friday, March 17th, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home.     Please sign the online guestbook at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
