Robert Powell

January 28, 1938 — June 28, 2016

Robert Calvin Powell III, 78 of Bethlehem died Tuesday, June 28th, 2016 at his home. Born January 28th, 1938, he was the son of the late Robert and Flora Powell.

In addition to his wife Derriann; a daughter Babette Stone and husband David of Raleigh; four sons Kerry Powell and wife Deborah of Charlotte, Robert Powell IV and wife Lisa of Chapel Hill, Keelan Powell and wife Pam of Charlotte; Derrick Barineau of Asheville; nine grand children Jenna, Sarah, Callie, Hanson, Mason, Robert V. , Jordan, Joshua, and Keelan survive him.

The funeral will be 8:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2016 at The Episcopal Church of Ascension with Karla Woggon officiating.

A Candle Light Burial will follow.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm-8:00 pm Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at the church.
