Robert Ramsey

Rev. Robert Sherman Ramsey 69 of Maiden died Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 at his residence in Maiden. Born January 23rd, 1949 he was the son of the late Von Ramsey and Fannie Garland Ramsey.

His wife of 52 years, Judy Ann Elder Ramsey of the home; a daughter, Crystal Ramsey Langford and husband Michael of Rincon, GA; three sons, Michael Sherman Ramsey of the home and Ben Robert Ramsey of St. Paul, MN and Aron Turpine; three sisters, Billie Ruth Ramsey of Newton, Ella Mae Lail and husband Fred of Maiden and June Frances Yount and husband Paul of Hickory; two brothers, Lonnie (Buster) Ramsey and wife Pearl of Claremont and Larry Ramsey of Old Fort, NC and four grandchildren, Shawn Ramsey, Jonathan (Jon Jon) Ramsey, Masun Womble and Caleb Womble survive him.

A sister, Bonnie Lowe preceded him in death.

The Celebration of Robert's Life will be 4:00pm Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church in Denver with Rev. Von Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00pm Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church in Denver.
