Robert Eugene Sipes, 58, of Hickory passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born March 1st, 1963 he was the son late of Kenneth Eugene Sipes and Helen Brown Propst.

He is survived by his daughter Erica Sipes of Conover; a son Robert Sipes of Hickory; a sister Kathy Brooks (Andy) of Louisiana; a brother Kenneth Sipes (Pam Smith) of Mountain View; two nephews Kenny Alexander of Colorado and Ethan Brooks of Louisiana; an uncle Doug Brown of Lenoir; a special cousin Robert Sipes Florida; and special life long friends Chad Laxton, Michael Phillips, Joe Smith and Michael Delehanty.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Eugene Sipes and Helen Brown Propst; and a special friend Robert Stewart.
The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life on Saturday October 16, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
