Robert Trivette

Robert Eugene Trivette, 64, of Newton died Monday, August 24, 2020 at Carolina Caring. Born February 4th, 1956 he was the son of Ralph McCoy Trivette and Sue Ellen Trivette.  He was dedicated to his racing family.

His wife, Deborah Trivette, three sons, Robert Trivette (Tabitha), Rodney Trivette (Heather) and Dennis Trivette (Kathryn); nine grandchildren, Brittany Trivette, Kyla Trivette, Dylan Trivette, Landon Trivette, Colin Trivette, Chloe Trivette, Aidan Trivette, Ashton Trivette and Ethan Trivette and three great-granchildren, Bentley Trivette, Holden Penley and Jaxsyn Penley survive him.

In addition to his parents, three brothers, Junior Trivette, Allen Trivette and Lee Trivette and a special aunt, Gracie Wilson preceded him in death.

The funeral will be held Monday, August 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Johnson and Pastor Anton Lagoutine officiating. He will travel one final lap around Hickory Motor Speedway after the service. Burial will follow at Saint John's Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 30, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
