Rodney Rhoades

Rodney Michael Rhoades 65, of Conover went to be with the Lord Monday, November 14th, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born February 14th,1951, he was the son of the late Clint Edward and Reba Hincher Rhoades. In addition to his wife of six years Vickie Cook Penley Rhoades, three daughters Christi Connor and husband Terry of Conover, Amanda Parsons and husband Adrian of Conover, Joanie Rhoades of Hickory; a son Barak Rhoades and wife Christina of Newton; a sister Kim Davis of Maiden; two brothers Tony Rhodes and wife Peggy of Newton, Kenneth Rhodes of Hickory; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren survive him. His parents Clint Edward and Reba Hincher Rhoades precede him in death. The funeral will be 2:00pm Thursday, November 17th, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Richie officiating. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm-2:00pm Thursday, November 17th, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
