Ronna Jane Highland, 76, of Lincolnton died Friday, December 15, 2023 at her residence. Born Wednesday, February 12th, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Grover and Nora Homesley.
Her daughter, Donna Yates (Kane); three sons, Jerry Womble (Keri), Kenneth Brooks (Teri) and Bobby Brooks (Greta); step-son, Dwaine Mills (Phia); ten grandchildren, Sarah Torbush, Alyssa Brooks, Katie Jenkins (James), Jeremy Womble, Jessica Metts, Elijah Yates, Randy Yates, Jonathan McCorkle, Curtis McCorkle, Jesse Mills and nine great-grandchildren survive her.
In addition to her parents, her husband of 24 Raymond Jack Highland; her brother, Edward Cleveland Homesley and her step-daughter, Tammy preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Iron Station Missionary Church with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M. and burial will follow at David Memorial Baptist Church.
