Rosella Teems

Rosella "Dottie" Teems, 76, of Granite Falls passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, in her home. Born, September 14th, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Enis Ward and Lucille Buchanan Ward. She was a homemaker who dedicated her time to taking care of her family. In her spare time, she loved reading her KJV Bible, sharing the love of the Lord, witnessing to others, and working on jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Baston; and her husband of 52 years, Dwight Teems; and a brother, Gary Ward.

She is survived by a daughter, Shannon Curley of Granite Falls; a son, Sam Baston (Joan) of Hudson; three grandchildren, Erica Baston-Strickland (Billy) of Lenoir, Tyler Curley of Granite Falls, Mackenzie Curley of Granite Falls; two great grandchildren Lucy Marie Baston-Strickland, and Colson Scott Curley; three sisters, Joann Sparks (Kenneth) of Spruce Pine, June Stafford of Matthews, and Jean Kay Reese (Gary) of Granite Falls; two brothers, Gwyn Ward of N, Wilkesboro, Tim Ward (Michelle) of Bakersville; and a number of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of life for Dottie and Dwight will be held at a later date.

Jenkins Funeral Home staff are not involved in the memorial service at the church.
