Roy Clement Lail, Jr., 75, of Conover passed away Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born December 1st, 1942 he was the son of the late Roy Clement Lail, Sr. and Clara Travis Lail. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, a devoted husband, and a loving father and grandfather.
His wife of 54 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Killian Lail of the home; a son, Ross Bradley Lail and wife Pamela of Mooresville; a daughter, Carla Beth Lail Bell and husband Scott of Newton; a sister, Janice Lail Story and husband Lewis of Newton; a brother, Donald Keith Lail and wife Nancy of Surfside Beach, SC and a grandson, Levi Lail survive him.
A brother, Gary Wayne Lail, preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 at New Life Authentic Christian Community with Rev. Scott Bell and The Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Disher officiating. Burial was held Monday at St. Paul's Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm Tuesday, June 5th, 2018 at New Life Authentic Christian Community.
