Ruby Pugh

Ruby Vandeline Bradshaw Pugh, 82 of Hickory died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Brian Center East. Born September 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Robert William Bradshaw Sr. and Vergie Lee Spencer Bradshaw. Ruby worked most of her life as a toe seamstress at McIntosh Hosiery. A daughter, Donna Ward of Hickory; a brother, R.W. Bradshaw of Hickory; grand-children, Sean Ward and family; and several nieces and nephews survive her. In addition to her late husband Jerry Pugh; a son, Perry Bradshaw and sister, Pauline Gray preceded her in death. The Celebration of Life Service service will be 5:30 pm Friday, May 27, 2011at 3:16 Christian Community Church. Pastor Wellinton Moyer and Pastor John Myers will officiate. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service from 5-5:30 at the church. Burial will be private.
