Ruth Lankford

Ruth Lea Lankford 88 died Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in N. Wilkesboro. Born March 8th, 1931 she was the daughter of William Arthur Jolly and Bertie Neta Deal Jolly.  She retired from Hickory Manufacturing after 16 years of service. She loved gardening and was an active, sweet person. She loved people and was loved by everyone.

Three sons, William Clay Lankford of N. Wilkesboro, Robert Anthony Lankford of N. Wilkesboro and Michael Clark Lankford of Morganton  survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Sherley Clay Lankford and a daughter Joanie Ruth Lankford preceded her in death.

A Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday August 27, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
