Sabrina Pavon

Sabrina Mercedes Pavon, 10 of Fred Beard Road, Maiden, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at her home. Born November 6, 2000 in Catawba County, she is the daughter of Kasim Pavon & Andrea Lagunas Pavon both of the home. Precious child that was a gift from God. She was an angel on this earth that was loaned to us for just a short while and now she will live with our father in heaven for eternity. A sister, Gabriella Maria Pavon of the home; two aunts, Bronte? Cuthbertson of Newton and Sandra Lee of Hickory; one uncle, Andre Pavon, Jr. of Newton; cousins, Mitchell and Nicole Lee, both of Hickory; paternal grand-parents, Sandra Mejias of Newton; and Maternal grand-mother, Slavia Lagunas of Hickory survive her. Maternal grandfather, German Danton Lagunas and paternal grand-father, Andre German Pavon preceded her in death. A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 at Celebration Family Worship Center in Drexel. For directions to the church, please call 828-438-8665. Pastor Rocky McLendon will officiate. Burial will follow at Startown/Jenkins Cemetery in Newton. Pallbearers include, Robbie Ocain, Louis Vasquez, Denver Goforth, Tony Stamey, Mitchell Lee, and Mark Allendes. A gathering of friends will be 2-4:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at the church.
