Sandra Beth Austin 77 of Taylorsville died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Carolina Caring. Born October 14th, 1941 she was the daughter of John Ballard Hart and Nancy Oletta Hart.
Those left to cherish her memory include siblings Sara Kneer of Sherrills Ford and Dean Hart of Granite Falls, NC; children Cynthia and William Wilson of Hampstead, NC, Jaylyne and Ken Washmund of Bethlehem, NC; and grandchildren Nathan Leath of Nashville, TN, Matthew Huffman of Hudson, NC, James Huffman of Bethlehem, NC, Austin Wasmund of Bethlehem, NC, and Lauren Wasmund of Bethlehem, NC.
Her husband J.E. Austin Jr., as well as two siblings Susie Dean and Roger Hart, preceded her in death.
Sandra was a graduate of Granite Falls High School. She loved gardening, sewing, and listening and dancing to bluegrass and old-time music. She also loved her two pets, Star and Patty. Sandra will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
