Sandra Houser

Sandra Sue Houser, 53 of Reynaud Court Newton died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley in Newton. Born October 9, 1956 she was the daughter of Betty Sue Slider Hamilton of Lenoir and the late, Ralph Walden Hamilton. Sandra was a member of Startown First Baptist Church in Newton. She enjoyed traveling, exploring new places and meeting new people. Everyone that met her came away blessed. Her husband of over 30 years, Ronald Lee Houser; a daughter, Jennifer Lee (Jared) Dyson of Newton, a sister; Debra Lynn Scalise of Ontario, California survive her. The funeral service for Sandra will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2010 at the funeral home. Pastor William Church will officiate.   Burial will follow in Startown-Jenkins Cemetery.
