Scott Ericson Moore 47 of Conover died Thursday June 27th, 2013 at N.C. Baptist Hospital. Born October 23rd, 1965 he was the son of Mildred Caroline Isaac Moore of Conover and the late Granville Smith Moore, II. Scott was an EMT-Intermediate with Iredell County and Cleveland County and a volunteer with Claremont Rescue Squad. He was a 1984 graduate of Hibriten High School and was just finishing the paramedic program at CVCC. He worked in sales at Blue Ridge Harley Davidson for six years. He had a contagious personality that would light up a room. He truly had a passion for helping people. He and Michelle loved boating and spending time at the lake. His wife of 13 years, Michelle Leigh Moore of the home; his mother, Mildred Isaac Moore of Conover; a brother, Granville Moore, lll and wife Sandra of Smithfield, VA; mother-in-law, Phyllis Neeley of Glen Carbon, IL; three sister-in-laws, Cory Brandt of Fairview Heights, IL, Elaine Brown of Collinsville, IL, Christine Darner of Lansing, KS; two brother-in-laws, Keith Darner and wife Leslie of Lubbock, TX and John Neeley of Lebanon, CT; two uncles, Joe Isaac and wife Anzonette of Lenoir and Lewis Isaac and wife Mary of Lenoir and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins survive him. In addition to his father, Granville Smith Moore, ll, a brother, Rick Moore preceded him in death. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Monday July 1st, 2013 at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory. Graveside rites will be provided by Mooresville City Fire Department. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Emergency Services. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 pm Sunday June 30th, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton. Memorials may be made to Claremont Rescue Squad PO Box 533 Claremont, NC 28610.
