Sharon Jane Haas, 65, of Conover passed away Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 30, 1953, she was the daughter of Mary Queen Sipe and the late Jerry Beard. She was loving mother and grandmother with a passion for artistry.
Two daughters, Alycia Abee of Newton and Shonda Brewer and fiance Mark Severt of Newton; a son, Derek Brewer and wife Amber of Morino Valley, CA; her mother, Mary Queen Sipe of Robbinsville, NC; a brother, Tim Beard and wife Linda of Catawba, NC; four grandchildren, Brooke Brewer of Newton, Madisyn Abee of Newton, Austin Brewer of Marino Valley, CA and Jackson Brewer of Marino Valley, CA survive her.
A sister, Kathy Beard Ihrie, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 25th, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Aaron Causby officiating. Burial will follow at Conover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm Sunday, November 25th, 2018 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
