Sharon Marie Killian Lackey, 59 of 15th Avenue, Hickory died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her residence. Born April 3, 1953 in Catawba County she was the daughter of the late Gaither Edward Killian and Clara Mae Poovey. A son, Raymond Patrick Lackey of Conover; a half sister, Elizabeth Gay McMurray of Granite Falls; a brother, James Edward Killian and wife Cynthia of Crumpler, NC; a special aunt, ?Sister? Hazel Moser of Conover; several aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive her. The funeral will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel in Newton. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Disher will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul?s Memorial Park in Newton. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 in Jenkins Chapel.
