Shaun Layne

Shaun "$haun" Edward Layne, 19 of Kings Mountain, died Wednesday July 15, 2009. Born January 31, 1990 he was the son of Donald Lee Layne and Sarah Diana Lawson Rogers of Lincolnton and the step son of Jeff Rogers of Lincolnton. He was employed by Jeremiahâ??s Grill in Stanley. In addition to his parents, a daughter, Brandy Michele Layne of the home; a sister, Sheena Renae Layne of Iron Station; a step-brother, Wesley Rogers of Lincolnton and his fiancée, Natalie Kay Faile of Kings Mountain survive him. The family is planning a private viewing and Gathering Saturday at the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton. Memorials may be made to D.A.R.E. of Lincoln County, PO Box 506 Lincolnton, NC 28093.
