Sheila Murriel Stiles, 69, of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2023. Born in Cleveland County on September 20, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Walter Stiles and Murriel Stiles Hallman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Stiles.
Family members include son, Michael J. Smith of Hickory; daughter, Teresa Carpenter of Lincolnton; her brother Bobby Stiles (Carolyn) of Statesville; grandchildren, Krysten Alexis Brooks of Lenoir, Lauren Brooks of Huntersville, Adam Smith of Hickory, and Katie Cater; and great-grandchildren, Levi Miller of Newton, Logan Miller of Newton, Luna Brooks of Huntersville, and Gabriel Lingerfelt of Lenoir.
Sheila is a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Vale, NC. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28658.
