Shelby Daniels

Shelby Jean Sloan Daniels, 72 of 19th Street Newton, formerly of Iredell County died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at her residence. Born May 8, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Henry Grade Sloan & Mary Elizabeth Shell Sloan. Shelby was a loving Mother & grand-mother. She attended Scotts High School and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Hiddenite, NC. Shelby was a huge NASCAR fan and her biggest accomplishment in life was loving her children. A daughter, Beverly Daniels Fox of Mooresville; a son, Robin L. Daniels of Newton and three grand-children, Erica Danielle Fox, Jonathan Ross Fox and Daniel Clark Fox survive her. A Service of Remembrance will be Sunday October 24, 2010 at 4:00pm at Fellowship Baptist Church on Buffalo Shoals Road in Statesville. The Rev. Beau Mills will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
