Sherese Whitener

Sherese Casha Whitener, 30, of Hickory transitioned to her Heavenly home on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born April 9th, 1991 she was the daughter of Tracy Denise Graydon and the late Lawrence Ringo Graydon. She was a graduate of Catawba Valley High School class of 2010. She was passionate about hair and make-up and was very photogenic. Most of all, she loved her two sons and her family.

Her mother, Tracy Denise Graydon, two sons, Joshua Lineburg Jr. and Josiah Whitener; two brothers, Antonio "Scrappy" Whitener and Brandon Burns; two sisters Shabria Whitener and O'nesha Graydon; special aunt, Tammy Whitener; special family, Manufacturing Solution Center; her step-dad, Angel Gomez and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew survive her.

In addition to her father, her grandmother, Joann Whitener preceded her in death.

Her funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
