Shirley Sharpe

Shirley Carolyn Sharpe, 88, of Statesville died Thursday, May 11, 2023 at her residence. Born May 12th, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Jonah Alexander Wilson and Maude Campbell.

Her daughter, Carolyn Wilson (Mark); her son, Teddy Sharpe (Joyce); her sister, Shelby Compton (Joe); grandchildren, Jordan Sharpe, Tyler Sharpe, Aaron Wilson and Logan Wilson, step-grandchildren, Cherilyn (Terry) Davis, Jody (August) Mayberry and Randall (Christina) Mayberry; great-grandchildren, Storm Earnhardt (Ryan), Kaleb, Konnor and Karson and great-great-grandchild, Sutton Earnhardt survive her.

In addition to her parents, her son, Danny Sharpe, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Statesville with Rev. Ron Setzer officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service and burial will follow at the church cemetery.
