Shirley Stevens

Shirley Ann Stevens, 83, of Taylorsville died Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her residence. Born April 28th, 1938 she was the daughter of Claude Lee Davis and Gertrude Reep Davis.

Those preceding Shirley in death are her parents Claude Lee Davis; Gertie Reep Davis, her son Gary Duane Stevens; eight brothers Wilford, Arron, Abe, Glen, Jones, J.C. and O.B. And  two sisters, Lois and Alma Motz.

Shirley is survived by her husband Richard Stevens Jr. Her brother, Steve Davis (Artie), son Dennis Keith Stevens; daughter Jeanine Rochelle Wilkerson; Grandchildren: Sandra, Tracy, Brittany, Jessica, Michael, Alyssa, Kylee and Macey. Great Grandchildren Lillian and Evelyn. And numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday May 26th, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm Thursday May 27th, 2021 at Macedonia Methodist Church 8099 Macedonia Church Road Vale, NC 28168. Burial will follow immediately after service.
