Stephanie Setzer

Stephanie Michelle Setzer, 41 of County Home Road, Conover died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at her residence. Born May 30, 1971 in Burke County, she was the daughter of Steve A. Whisnant, Sr. of Maiden and the late Edith Jewelee Miller. Stephanie was a loving mother and loved her husband & family very much. She had a beautiful voice and sang at many public events. She loved butterflies, enjoyed scrap booking and collecting jewelry. Stephanie enjoyed working with in home care patients, for those in need. In addition to her father; her husband of 13 years, Randy Lee Setzer of the home; two daughters, Megan Thorne & Michelle Thorne; two sons, Michael Thorne & Dennis Thorne; a sister, Sherry Hamby of Morganton a brother, Steve Whisnant, Jr; a brother-in-law, Jeff and wife Heather Setzer of Hickory; mother and father in law, Mickey and Martha Setzer of Maiden; and two grand-children survive her. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Sunday, June 17. 2012, at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 2-3:00 pm, Sunday, June, 17, 2012, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
