Steve Marlowe passed away peacefully at Baptist Hospital on February 10, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on February 1, 1956, he was a husband, father, farmer, friend, and motorcyclist who enjoyed his grandchildren, coffee, and a good long drive. Even though he could be a man of few words, he'd never hesitate to tell people about his grand babies and how proud he was of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen, and his half brother Lawrence.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel, his daughters and their husbands: Jessica and Aaron, Helen and Jose, and Katie and Dale and by seven grandchildren: Leelah, Rachel, Harlynn, Faith, Ida, Emilia, Levi and one soon to be grandson, Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 11-12:45PM at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church located at 6815 East Hwy 150 Maiden, NC 28650 on Saturday, February 17, 2024 with service beginning at 1PM with Reverend Jeff Harris officiating. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
