Talmadge Prevatte

Talmadge O'Neil Prevatte, 95, of Conover died Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Abernethy Laurels. He was born December 14th, 1927. He managed The Steak House Restaurant for many years and went on to work for Pet Dairy and Hickory Springs. He was a passionate golfer. He was a Veteran of the US Army.

A daughter, Sheila Prevatte Wilson and husband Mike of Newton; three sons, Richard Prevatte and wife Bonnie of Wilmington, Myron Prevatte and wife Darlene of Burlington and Jeff Prevatte of Burlington; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive him.

The funeral will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at New Life Authentic Christian Church with Pastor Chris Gruver and Pastor Steve Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park, with military graveside rites provided by AmVets Post 76.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the church.
