Tamara Wallis

Tamara Roseanne Wallis 29, of Hwy 16 South, Newton died Wednesday according to the family, as a victim of a drunk driver. Born November 1, 1978 in Milwaukee, Wisc., the daughter of George Girard Scherer of Bedford, WY and Susan Lynn Stanelle Scherer of the home. Tamara was a Senior Business Analyst with Net Deposit/Zions Bank Corp. She attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida. She was employed with Walt Disney World 1996-1999. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Tamara is survived by a five year old daughter, Alexandria Wallis of the home , Alexandriaâ??s father, Daniel Wallis of Salt Lake City, UT, Alexandriaâ??s grandparents Pam and Steve Wallis of Riverton, UT, a sister; Katie Scherer of the home; three brothers, Sean Scherer of Phoenix, Arizona, George John Scherer, Jr. of the home and Timothy Scherer of the home; her fiancé, Stephen Matthew Kennedy of the home and his three children; Sierra age 8, Matthew age 6 and Zachary age 6; Numerous relative s and friends, as well as her dogs, Charlie and Dakota. A celebration of Tamaraâ??s life will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday September 7, 2008 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Conover. Bishop Tate will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7-10:00 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 2774 S. Hwy 16 Newton.
