Teresa Stacks

Teresa Eva Lengyel Stacks, 83 of Valley Rd. died Saturday March 10, 2007 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born November 5, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Paul Joseph Lengyel and Josephine Rose Kovac Lengyel. A homemaker, she was faithful to her church, St Aloysius Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Mary. In her leisure, she made rosaries for friends and said the rosary every day. Her husband, John Stanley Stacks of the home; a son, Paul J. Miller of Newton; five grandchildren, Keith Miller, Carla Laws, Kurt Miller, Craig Miller and Lisa Miller; and four great grandchildren, survives her. In addition to her parents, a son, Rudolph John Miller, Jr. preceded her in death. A Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday March 15, 2007 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with Father John Putnam officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul J. Miller, Keith A. Miller, Kurt J. Miller, Craig Miller, Jason Winkler and Jason Bean. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home with a rosary being said at 8:15 p.m. Memorials may be made to Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Rd.
