Teressa Carol Lattimore, 52 of Hickory, took her last rest and walked with God on 23 January 2021. She was born to parents Linda Thomas Queen and Step Father Robert Queen and William “Junior” Thomas on 29 June 1968 in Waynesville ,NC. She was the eldest sibling to Frank Alan Thomas and Phillip Thomas.
In 1982, Carol met the love of her life, Frank Lattimore and became Mrs. Lattimore in 1986 and again on November 28, 2009. Carol had 2 daughters Tasha Brittany Lattimore and Sarah Kathleen Davidson.
After graduating high school she went on to study Accounting at SPCC and graduated with an Associates degree. Carol worked as a Professional Accounting and Office Coordinator for all her life and sometimes double time. In her professional career she carried her load and then some. Carol was the lifeline in every position she held. However, Carol’s true calling was her family. She was a dedicated and loyal daughter, sister, mother, aunt, second mother, best friend and grandmother. She always made sure all the kids of the family were ok and gave the biggest hugs known to man, not to mention a few hot pink kisses!
She enjoyed family, grandkids, DIY-ing, talking to strangers and laughing wholeheartedly. From 2006-2021, Carol was honored by being the Best Grandma Ever for loving and celebrating all her grandkids, Oscar, Aiden, Jayden, Selena and Hank Jr.
There will not be a song she did not sing or a hug she did not give with all her strength. She was truly loved. She was a shining example of a great friend and a beautiful soul. She will be forever missed. O'hana y’all.
