Thela Lewis

Thela Ann Lewis, 60, of Maiden passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born April 13th, 1961 she was the daughter of Nolan Evin Letson and Sarah Lucille Letson.

She is survived by her husband Terry Lewis of 41 and half years; two daughters Saqahnah D Lewis and Terri Leigh Ann Crouse (Tracy); a son Matthew David Lewis (Mariah); seven grandchildren Caleb Foster (Hailey), Elizabeth Narveson, Felicity Cornelius, Brennan Cornelius, Kayden Lewis, Raegan Crouse, and Austin Crouse; two sisters Starla Tsosie and Daneila Letson; a brother Tony Letson; a sister-in-law Marilyn Deskins (Tom); two brother-in-laws Bob Lewis and Calvin Lewis (Pat); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her grandson Austin Cornelius; a sister Twila Letson; her brother Bobby Letson; a sister-in-law Darlene Sanders; and her special fur baby Soldier.

In lieu of flowers Thela could best be honored by paying it forward. She always lived a selfless life of service from supporting her military family, law enforcement, medical field and her own family, so remember to honor her and take care of others.
