Thomas King

Thomas Carlton King 59 of Newton died Sunday, June 11th, 2017 at his home. Born March 18th, 1958 he was the son of the late Aaron King and Emily Smith King. He was employed by Charter Communications for 30 years.  The mother of his children, Edith Shell King of Vale; two sons, Aaron Hoke King and fiancé Hayley Beaty of Dallas, NC and Hunter Thomas King of Vale; a grand daughter, Ada; a brother, Aaron Lazenby King, Jr and wife, Sylvia of Hickory; cousins, Gerald and Jane Smith and Jerry Smith, Karen Winslow-McLane all of Irmo, SC. as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother; Sam King, beloved uncle; Hoke Smith  A celebration of Tommy's life will be 1 pm July 1, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Angela Powell officiating.
