Thomas Marlow

Thomas Keith Marlow, Sr. 73 of Colonial Lane, Hickory died Sunday April 4, 2010 at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born October 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Jeffie David and Rebecca Cody Marlow. A graduate of Hickory High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He loved Atlanta Braves baseball and enjoyed watching wildlife. He was a hardworking man who never complained. He loved his wife and family. His wife of nearly 50 years, Barbara Ann Hill Marlow of the home; a daughter, Kim Marlow Sexton and her husband Brad of St Johns, FL; a son, Keith Marlow, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Conover; a brother, Jeffrey E. Marlow and his wife Janice of Morganton and three grandchildren, Connor, Katie and Michael survive him. A brother, Phillip Cody Marlow preceded him in death. A Memorial service will be 6:00pm Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey E. Marlow officiating. The family will receive friends following the ceremony.
