Thomas Jerry Miller 75 of Catawba died Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 at Abernethy Laurels. Born January 21st, 1943 he was the son of the late Catherine Louise Miller Harris. He served eight years in the Army from 1961-1969. He worked in construction for over 40 years at WSMP and later retired from Claremont Building Supply.
His wife of 54 years, Judy Miller of the home; two daughters, Annette McKinney and husband Chad of Hickory and Cissy Prevette and friend Billy Little of Catawba; a son, T.J. Miller of Catawba; six grandchildren, Joshua Prevette and wife Savannah, Aaron Miller, Emma Miller, Casey Tucker, Kendell Little and Kelsey Little and an aunt Audrey Arrington survive him.
The funeral will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Cooley officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday, November 16th, 2018 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
