Timothy Yates Baker 53 of Morganton passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care. Born April 9th, 1967 he was the son of Yates Lynn Baker and Eula Mae Baker. Tim worked for Williams Lumber Co; three and a half years at Poteat Grading services and worked construction until becoming disabled.
Two sons Duel Baker of Morganton, Nicholas Baker of Morganton; a sister Veda Walker, two nieces Macy Baker and Katie Walker, and a nephew Josh Baker survive him.
A brother Randy Lynn Baker, nephew Matthew Walker, grandparents McKinley Baker and Ruth Baker, and maternal grandparents Frank and Elsie Chapman preceded him in death.
