Todd Hilbert

Todd Stephen Hilbert, 75, of Denver passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Carolina Caring. Born January 23rd, 1948 he was the son of the late Stanley Hilbert and Viola Hilbert.

Todd was a proud military veteran. He received a Purple Heart for his service with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He also served as a firefighter in Roxbury, New Jersey for five years.

Todd is survived by his wife Pamela Sue Hilbert of Denver, NC, his daughter Heather Trivette and son-in-law Rodney Trivette of Newton, his three grandchildren Kyla and her partner, Jordan, Landon and his wife, Caitlyn, and Chloe Trivette, his brothers Stanley (wife Laura) Hilbert of New Jersey and Phillip (wife Kristine) Hilbert of Conover, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Kyle Stephen, his sisters Gladys Wood, Alice Hayner, Marguerite LaValley, Inez Parry, Joan Grecco, Karen Hilbert, and Joyce Carrell, and his brother Glenn Hilbert.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.

The Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Shelton and William Church officiating. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery, followed by a mix-and-mingle at Jenkins Funeral Home Celebration Center.
