Tommy Hilton

Biography Tommy Allen Hilton, 81 of Hickory died Thursday, November 12th, 2015 at Brian Center in Viewmont. Born July 13th, 1934 he was the son of the late Homer Hilton and Inez Hilton. He was a self employed residential painter for most of his life. He worked for Newton Knitting for several years as well. He loved horseback riding and he loved his dogs.

Wife, Leta Anne Burris Hilton of the home; five daughters, Kathy Owens of Hickory, Renae Snypes of Hickory and Cheryl Spencer of Hickory, Terrianne Young of Sparta, Kimberly Ann Kluttz and husband Eddie of Sparta; four sons, Ronald Allen Hilton of Hickory, Jeffrey Scott Hilton and wife, Teresa of Morganton, Donald Eugene Hilton of Hickory and James Edward Hilton and wife, Tina of Taylorsville; two sisters, Betty Graham and husband Jack of CA and Carolyn Hilton Icard of Hickory; 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren survive him.

Four sisters preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 14th, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Vernon Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Saturday, November 14th, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
