Tony Gross

Tony Theodore Gross, 70 of Hickory went to be with his Lord Friday, October 23rd, 2015 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 19th, 1945 he was the son of the late Marston Gross and Mary Ruth Rudisill Gross. He retired from IFH with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and was a creative chef who liked to explore recipes. He liked auctions and playing chess and watching older TV programs. Three daughters, Tammy Bradshaw and husband Dennis of Granite Falls, Kathy Noble and husband Steve of Newton, and Angela Gross of Newton; a brother, Eddie Gross and wife Donna of Hickory; a sister, Joyce Goins of Hendersonville; six grandchildren, Latasha Bradshaw, Ashley Bradshaw, Christopher Livingston and wife Brittany of Newton, Katelyn Noble Williams and husband Tyler of Maiden, Keegan Noble and Kennedie Noble and a great grandson, Noah Bradshaw and his beloved dog B.J. survive him. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Mr. Steve Noble officiating. Burial will follow at New Life Fellowship Church formerly known as Starmount Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
