Vera Mae Larson Vanderhoof, 90 of Lincolnton passed away Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at The Brian Center in Lincolnton. Born January 26th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Adalbert Larson and Gertrude Melvina Oriett Larson. She was member of the Denver United Methodist Church. Prior to retirement, she worked at Hawthorne Community Hospital in California for 28 years. A daughter Kathryn Mae Woodward and husband Jack of Lincolnton; two sons, Floyd Marshall Vanderhoof of Lincolnton, Jerome Darrell Vanderhoof of Chandler, AZ; five grandchildren, Jennifer Cendejas and husband Paul, Gregory Woodward and wife Lindsey, Jerome Vanderhoof, Jr. and wife Mila, Lyndsy Vanderhoof, and Leslie Muchmore; 13 great grand-children and a great, great grandson survive her. Her husband of 54 years, Marshall Henry Vanderhoof; a son, David Vernon Vanderhoof and two sisters, Helen Surber and Mable Nelson preceded her in death.
