Veronica Leahu

Veronica Leahu, 80, of Hickory died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Carolina Caring Hospice. Born October 23rd, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Petru Moisa and Veronica Avram. 

Her children, Marcel Leahu Florin Leahu, Cornelia Leahu, John Leahu, Simona Leahu and Daniel Leahu and her siblings, Dumitru Moisa, Petrica Moisa, Ann Bistran and Eugenia Maier survive her.

In addition to her parents, her spouse, Gherorge Leahu; her children, Violeta Leahu and Dorina Leahu and her siblings, Maria Bistran and Gabriel Moisa preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home from 3:00-5:00 P.M., and burial will follow the service on Tuesday at Brookford Cemetery.
