Vickie Parker

Vickie Sue Parker, 62, of Hickory died Tuesday November 26, 2019 at her home. Born October 30th, 1957 she was the daughter of Homer Junior Mull and Faye Lois Mull. Vickie was a Christian and loved the church. She was a loving and caring person, who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Back in the day Vickie loved to fish with her dad, Jerry, and her brother Tommy. More than anything though Vickie loved her family; her grandchildren meant the world to her!

Her daughter, Kathy Diane Parker Blakely (James) of West Virginia; six sisters, Carolyn Tanksley of South Carolina, Diane Lewis of Conover, Renea Bagley of Morrow Georgia, Leeann Blakley of Mountain View, Lisa Carver of Hickory, and Amy Poore of Hickory; two brothers, Tommy Mull (Tonya) of Hickory and Eddie Sigmon (Donna) of Hickory; three grandchildren, James Blakley, Krystal Blakley, and Matthew Blakley; numerous nieces and nephews survive her.

In addition to her parents Vickie was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jerry Parker; and her brothers, John Henry Mull, Homer Joe Fowler Mull, Barry Sigmon, Steve Sigmon and Johnny Sigmon.

The funeral will be 2:00 pm Monday, December 2nd, 2019 in the Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Varner officiating. Burial will follow at Brookford Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm Monday December 2nd, 2019 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
