Virgil Dume

Virgil Mircea Dume, 49 of Hickory died on Monday, July 8, 2013 at his residence. Born October 6, 1963 in Romania, he was the son of Gheorge Dume and Ecaterina Gal Dume of Hallandale, FL. Mr. Dume served in the Romanian Army before moving to the United States. A brother, Remus Dume preceded him in death. In addition to his parents; his wife of 26 years, Nicoleta Dume of the home; a daughter, Raluca Litke and husband Joshua of Hickory; three sons, Andrei Dume and wife Jennifer of Kingston, TN, Emanuel Dume and fiance, Kristina Rapp of Knoxville, TN and David Dume of HIckory, NC; a sister, Mariana Bitere and her two daughters, Rucsandra & Ana-Maria Bitere, all of Hallandale, FL; father and mother in law, Traian and Irina Negrut of Sunrise, FL and brother in law, Felician Negrut and wife Sabina and thier son, Emanuel, all of Romania survive him. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Hooks officiating. Burial will follow at Brookford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. immediately prior to the service, at the church.
